Outcome area - Raising the profile
Moving in to the NM office, in April 2003, has made NM
much more visible. Stalls at community fairs over summer,
stalls in the shopping centre, our high profile election
campaign (using radio, TV, press, bus advertising,
Post Office advertising) has resulted in much greater
awareness of NM in the community. Bi - monthly newsletters
are delivered to every household.
In terms of engaging service providers we have focused
in particular on our profile within the Council, given
the new administration (May 2003) and Chief Executive
(August 2003), for example inviting the Cabinet, local
ward members
and the Chief Exec to meet the Board on a number of occasions.
We made a presentation to the Bournemouth Partnership
(LSP) and are a key member of its developing Communities
Tackling
Crime Forum and its local Community Safety Action Group. |
