Outcome area - Employment
The Health and Education group identified getting vulnerable adults into work as a priority and initiated the set up of our Employment Group.

Statistics quantifying the problem have been collated and robust post-coded data analysed and as a direct result the post of Employment Outreach Worker was created. This post is jointly funded by NM, SRB and JobCentre Plus and has the aim of helping people who have been out of work long term to overcome barriers they have. Based in a local GP surgery the outreach worker takes referrals from the doctors and will help those who want to return to the workplace to do so.
