It is with regret that we inform you that the Neighbourhood Management programme ended on the 31st March 2009.

Neighbourhood Management was funded by central government for 7 years to address deprivation and inequalities in Boscombe West and Springbourne. The funding ceased at the end of March and whilst some staff will remain until the end of the project, in order to decommission the premises, we would like to advise that the office is now closed to the public.

We have put a list of useful phone numbers and contacts onto the webpage which will remain 'live' until April 2010. We have also added the minutes for all board meetings and additional research documents which may be of interest. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved with Neighbourhood Management and wish you all every success for the future.

Neighbourhood Management -
building blocks with it's community, businesses and service providers to help improve the Boscombe West and Springbourne area.

The Object of Neighbourhood Management is to help deprived communities and local services providers work together at the neighbourhood level to improve and 'join up' local services. And to help make those services more responsive to local needs and ensure they deliver priority outcomes on the ground.

The NM vision is focused on delivery improvements in six key areas:

• Community Safety
• Business & Tourism
• Community Engagement
• Planning, Housing & Environment
• Health
• Education & Training

The partnership is made up of local residents, community and voluntary groups, and includes key public services such as the local authority, Primary Care Trust, Police and other local organisations which play a role in local service delivery.
